Each step should be connected to the previous one and provide a reason why the next one is needed. My design process is driven by 4 main things: empathy, mindfulness, experimentation, aesthetics.

Each step should be connected to the previous one and provide a reason why the next one is needed. My design process is driven by 4 main things: empathy, mindfulness, experimentation, aesthetics.
Empathy
Building with the user in mind at all times, emphasizing empathy to advocate for solutions that address real user needs.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness and intentionality go hand in hand. At every step of the process, ensuring a focus on solving the right problem and making deliberate design decisions.
Experimentation
Design is testing. Testing out designs and gathering feedback is the most rewarding, validating, and humbling aspect of design. Embracing the thrill of usability tests and the excitement of reviewing test results keeps the creative process alive.
Asthetics
Adoring visual design, the creation of high-fidelity prototypes and designs is a source of joy for me. This passion finds expression through the meticulous construction of design systems.

Daily UI Challenges
In the summer of 2022, I started the daily UI challenge for some consecutive days. The reason to do this was to practice UI design & gain experience through tinkering, experimenting and a lot of trial & error. I believe that the quickest way to improve your craft is to just make a lot of stuff. This excercise not only improved my visual design skills but also helped me in making an eye for seeing patterns and understanding why those patterns are being used for certain contexts.
